The Resettlement Assistance Program helps refugees and protected persons resettle in Canada by providing them with financial assistance to cover the costs of accommodations, essential clothing, household effects and other living expenses. The financial assistance is non-repayable and provided to refugees and protected persons for up to one year after their arrival in Canada or until they become self-sufficient, whichever comes first.

Service Canada has a Forms Catalogue for various programs and services including EI and CPP.

Canada Pension Plan (CPP) is a social insurance program. The website has information on how to apply for:

• disability benefits (which include benefits for disabled contributors and benefits for their dependent children);
• retirement pension;
• survivor benefits (which include the death benefit, the survivor's pension and the children's benefit).

Workers' Compensation Board of Canada has links to Workers' Compensation Boards/Commissions across Canada.

The Residential School Settlement website is the official Court website for the settlement of the Residential Schools Class Actions Litigation. The site is available in English, French and Inuktitut. The Indian residential schools settlement has been approved by the Courts. Now, former students and their families must decide whether to stay in the settlement or remove themselves (opt out). The site has updates on the settlement, applications for claims and opting out, as well as other information. The official government site, Indian Residential Schools Resolution Canada has information on the settlement, the Common Experience Payment, and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

The Ministry Human Resources and Social Development website has information for how to apply for Employment Insurance.

Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) has an online Employment Insurance application.

The website for the Review Tribunals for Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security has information for unsuccessful applicants of a CPP disability benefit.
