News Feeds

Thousands of sites (particularly news sites and weblogs) publish their latest headlines and/or stories in a machine-readable format so that other sites can easily link to them. This content is usually in the form of an RSS feed. RSS is a Web content syndication format and its name is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication.

The following news categories are fed automatically through PovNet from outside mainstream and independent news sites, blogs, advocacy organizations, non-profits and government sites with various keywords. These are the News Sources we connect to. These stories are not moderated and do not necessarily reflect the views of PovNet. We have tried to display stories with a poverty/anti-poverty theme but other stories may sneak in.
