Court workers in Nunavut

August 29, 2006 - 9:37am

Website: www.plein.ca/en/court_workers.htm
Inuit court workers act as interpreters and are the watchdogs for cultural differences in the court system. They are sometimes the first people to deal with clients who have legal problems and are members of the community who are respected and trusted to assist. All court workers speak fluent English and Inuktitut.
