The British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre is a non-profit society that advances the interests of groups that are generally unrepresented or underrepresented in issues of major public concern. They usually take on cases that in the interests of low income residential consumers, of disadvantaged groups in obtaining access to justice and equality before the law, and unmet advocacy needs in both established and emerging areas.
