Social Condition added to Human Rights Act

On June 30, 2004 the New Brunswick government passed an amendment to the New Brunswick Human Rights Act to include "social condition" as a protected ground in the Act. Throughout the Act all relevant sections will be amended striking out "or sex" and substituting ", sex, social condition, political belief or activity." A listing of the amended sections is listed on the New Brunswick government's website.
