On Sunday, August 2, 2009, the BCCLA will be participating in the 31st annual Vancouver Pride Parade.

This year's theme is Educate, Liberate, Celebrate! We are inviting members to help promote equality by joining the BCCLA's marching team in the Pride Parade.

You can create your own costume, dress in a colour of the rainbow or wear a free BCCLA t-shirt proudly.

To join the BCCLA in the Pride Parade, please contact events [at] bccla [dot] org or 604-630-9750 to register your spot and let us know what you will be wearing. We are
limited to 50 participants so please register early!

We are also still in need of volunteers for our Pride festival info
tent, so please let us know if you?re available. BCCLA members are the heart of our Association and make our work possible.
