Eligibility
To be eligible for supportive housing in Vancouver, an applicant’s needs must qualify as urgent, high or moderate, with priority based on meeting the most urgent needs first.
Supportive housing targets low income adults who:
- Are homeless or at risk of homelessness
- Live with mental and physical health conditions
- Require support services to achieve successful tenancies
- Need safe, affordable housing.
The goal is to facilitate the transition from homelessness and emergency shelter use to permanent, supportive housing.
