Megaphone magazine has run a feature carrying the voices and stories of some DEWC Power of Women members. Titled "Our Lives, Our Voices: Downtown Eastside women find healing through narrative", seven women from the group share their journeys of resilience living in poverty - as single mothers, survivors of residential schools, victims of sexual violence, through the onslaught of the Olympics, and more.
