The St. John's Status of Women Council recognizes that women, individually and as a group, have been and still are victimized by the existing social structures and practices.

As a non-partisan, pro-choice organization, we actively promote the social, economic and personal equality of women. We are dedicated to the empowerment of all women while working within a feminist framework.
