A coalition of housing activists are handing out red tents on the streets of Vancouver to pressure the federal government to create a housing strategy. The Red Tent Campaign plans to hand out over 500 tents during the Olympics. The tents say "Housing is a Right," and are suppose to act as symbols on the streets and in the media to draw attention to Canada’s homelessness crisis.
