Homeless activists set up Olympic Tent Village

Hundreds of people rallied yesterday in the Downtown Eastside and set up a tent city in an empty lot owned by Concord Pacific to protest the lack of affordable housing and the problems of homelessness. Concord Pacific also owns the land on False Creek where VANOC has set up temporary tents for the Olympics.
