The Traveling Poverty Law Advocate Program is sponsored by Community Connections Society of Southeast BC and is funded by the Law Foundation of British Columbia.

The Traveling Advocate provides assistance and information to the public regarding poverty law issues such as tenants’ rights and dispute resolutions, welfare information and appeals, disability benefits information and appeals, Human Rights complaints, Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, the S.A.F.E.R program, and employment standards. Providing service to Kimberley, Creston, Fernie and Invermere and outlying areas.
