The year-long persons with disabilities designation review process is complete and the vast majority of cases reviewed are eligible under the new criteria. The Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Act took effect on September 30, 2002 and eligibility of all persons receiving disability benefits in BC was to be reviewed under the new criteria.
