Canada's Poor Are PoorerNovember 29, 2002 - 12:00am
StatsCan's publication, The Daily, recently featured a story regarding the release of family income figures for the year 2000. "After-tax income rose for the fifth straight year in 2000 ... At the same time, the number of families with low income fell to its lowest level in a decade, and the low-income rate declined to its lowest level since 1989."
