One step Closer to a Fully-funded National Housing Program

According to the National Housing and Homelessness Network Canada has moved another big step towards a fully-funded national housing program, thanks to effective political pressure at the federal-provincial-territorial (F/P/T) housing ministers' meeting in Quebec City on November 30, 2001. Building on the momentum from the London housing meeting in August, the ministers agreed on an F/P/T framework to build desperately-needed new affordable housing. The National Housing and Homelessness Network report is available online.
