This work is an overview of the Canadian Unemployment Insurance Program from the angle of the rights it grants the unemployed, as well as an analysis of the evolution of the Program through its history. It is the result and a follow-up to the author's several years experience in private practice focusing mainly on defending the rights of the unemployed.
