According to Canadian Consumer Information Gateway's website, the site is "a single, central gateway to all of the trustworthy information and services offered by Canada’s governments and NGOs. Canadians need powerful new tools that save time and simplify the process of learning, comparing and complaining effectively." A website formed through strategic partnerships between more than 400 federal departments and agencies, provincial and territorial ministries and NGO partners offers a wide range of consumer information with a database searchable by province/territory as well as keyword.
