The Aboriginal Directory of Resources on the Library and Archives Canada site contains contact information for a variety of libraries, archives, friendship centres, native newspapers and newsletters, cultural centres, educational institutions, associations, individuals and communities specializing in Aboriginal resources and services.

Legal Services Society of BC has an online archive of Aboriginal/Native Law publications, including an Aboriginal Poverty Law Manual, Aboriginal Restorative Justice, Rights and Benefits for First Nations People and Social Assistance on Reserve in British Columbia.

Mother of Red Nations Women's Council of Manitoba works "[t]o promote, protect and support the spiritual, emotional, physical and mental well being of all Aboriginal women and children in Manitoba."

Aboriginal Housing Association (NAHA) website offers resources related to Aboriginal/FirstNations houing/homelessness issues. Mission: "To build safe and healthy Aboriginal communities by supporting Aboriginal housing corporations to achieve standards of excellence in the management and delivery of quality affordable housing and counseling support services to Aboriginal tenants and potential homeowners."

The Centre for Native Policy and Research "is a non-partisan, social justice, progressive Aboriginal think tank on the social, economic, and environmental policy and research concerns of Aboriginal people in British Columbia and Canada. The Centre will provide collaborative solutions between existing Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal groups by bringing people together beyond politics to promote progressive research, policy alternatives, and hope."

Despite the fact Aboriginal peoples offer diverse skills to the workforce, their participation in the labour force is lower and their unemployment rate higher than that of non-Aboriginal Canadians. The Aboriginal Workforce Participation Initiative's (AWPI) tool-kit for employers has been published and is available online.

The Information Centre on Aboriginal Health (ICAH) offers a database of funding sources in order to help Aboriginal students go back to school. This free online service provides information on more than 850 scholarships, bursaries, and awards available to Aboriginal students pursuing health careers.
