Transgendered Health Program

Thier site has a range of online resources: a referral guide to trans-friendly care around BC, links to trans health providers and an online library.

Prisoner's HIV/AIDS Support Action Network (PASAN)

Prisoner's HIV/AIDS Support Action Network (PASAN) is a community-based prisoners’ rights organization that strives to provide advocacy, education, and support to prisoners and ex-prisoners in Ontario on HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and other harm reduction issues. Their website has extensive resources on HIV/AIDS, prison justice, harm reduction and the criminal justice system. PASAN also publishes a newsletter, Cell Count.

Poverty: affecting health

A recent conference (November 29 - December 1) - The Social Determinants of Health Across the Life-Span featured presentations on Income and Income Distribution, Employment Security and Unemployment, Employment and Working Conditions and Food Security. All of the presentations are not yet available on the internet, but the presentation A Lost Decade: Income Equality and the Health of Canadians can be found online.
