Calgary Housing Action Initiative is a coalition of individuals affected by the housing crisis, other allies in the community, organizations, support agencies, political groups, politicians, and anyone else who can help in trying to make positive change to bring an end to this crisis and ensure adequate housing for all in this city. Justice for Youth is a site supported by the Calgary John Howard Society and created and maintained by a group of youth from Calgary. These youth vary, some are young people who live at home with their parents and have never been in trouble with the law. Some are youth in care or youth in/from custody. What bonds them together is that they all want to make a difference. They all are working, side by side to help ensure that youth can get the facts around the justice system; in hopes that there online peers will make positive choices.

The Street Survival Guide is an annual publication of the City of Calgary Community Strategy Project. The 2005 guide is a 60 page document and is available in PDF format.

The Access to Justice Network's The Landlord and Tenant Reference Guide is intended as a reference manual on landlord and tenant law in Alberta for use by people with a significant level of knowledge about residential tenancies. It provides an overview of the law with respect to major issues that arise for both landlord and tenants during the rental relationship. The guide begins with a brief history of landlord and tenant law to show the importance of both the written contract to rent residential premises and the statute law as it affects the terms of that contract.

"The Hall is a place where people with disabilities can talk about rights. Rights is the word used to mean that things are fair for everyone. Sometimes there are laws to make things fair, but sometimes we need more laws or better laws. At the Hall we talk about our lives and how we can work together to make things more fair for everyone with disabilities.
