There are more then 250 links with a focus on Canadian poverty reduction strategies implemented or under consideration in Newfoundland and Labrador, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Ontario; you'll also find links to info about poverty reduction strategies in the United States, the United Nations, Europe, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Nova Scotia Tenants' Rights Website

The Dalhousie Legal Aid Service in Halifax, Nova Scotia has created a Tenants' Rights Website. There is a Tenant Rights Guide to help tenants understand their legal rights on this site. There are also links to important documents that you'll need to fill out if you are involved with Residential Tenancies in Nova Scotia. And there are also links to other useful information and tenant organizations around Canada.

The Nova Scotia Single Mothers' Survival Guide

Single Mothers Survival Guide Fifth Edition

Published by the Nova Scotia Public Interest Research Group (NSPIRG) has updated, and put online, Single Mothers Survival Guide (Fifth Edition) that recognizes the economic, social, and political hardships experienced by single mothers and offers specific and practical information on how to cope when living in poverty in the metro-Halifax area. Though some sections are specific to Nova Scotia, the guide has information for anyone.
