Ontario's Office of the Worker Advisor has a large list of Workers' Compensation Boards, Health and Safety Associations, Resources for People with Disabilities, Worker Adviser and more from across Canada.

Canadian Social Research Links has created a webpage of Anti-Poverty Strategies and Campaigns in Canada and Elsewhere. There are more then 250 links with a focus on Canadian poverty reduction strategies implemented or under consideration in Newfoundland and Labrador, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Ontario; you'll also find links to info about poverty reduction strategies in the United States, the United Nations, Europe, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

The Other Side is a radio show out of Hamiliton, Ontario which highlights poverty and social justice issues. You can listen to the show online on 93.3 CFMU-FM.

The Colour of Poverty is a Ontario community based effort to help raise public awareness about poverty within racialized communities. The Colour of Poverty Campaign has created a series of Fact Sheets addressing different aspects of racialized poverty and its negative impacts on education & learning, health & well-being, employment, income levels, justice and policing, immigration and settlement, housing and homelessness and food security in Ontario.

Navigating Mental Health Services in Toronto: A Guide for Newcomer Communities is an online guide (in PDF, multilingual) that explains the mental health system to new Canadians. It describes the rights of people with mental health issues, and includes a section on mental illness and the criminal justice system. It is produced by the Community Resource Connections of Toronto.

Working on the Edge, a report created by the Workers' Action Centre, documents the experiences of workers in low-paid temporary agency and contract jobs where employers fail to meet minimum labour standards. The report makes policy recommendations, including changes to the Employment Standards Act.

Ontario Coalition for Social Justice is a coalition of labour unions and community groups dedicated to promoting social and economic justice in Ontario. Their website has a long list of progressive organizations, a list of campaigns (Ontario Needs a Raise, Hands Off the Child Benefit, and Access to ODSP) as well as other resources.

Prisoner's HIV/AIDS Support Action Network (PASAN) is a community-based prisoners’ rights organization that strives to provide advocacy, education, and support to prisoners and ex-prisoners in Ontario on HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and other harm reduction issues. Their website has extensive resources on HIV/AIDS, prison justice, harm reduction and the criminal justice system. PASAN also publishes a newsletter, Cell Count.

"CLEONet is an online clearinghouse for community legal education in Ontario. Community legal education helps low-income and disadvantaged communities understand and exercise their legal rights."

"Delivering Health Care to the Homeless" is an online curriculum. The University of Ottawa's Faculty of Medicine has posted introductory materials for their course on homelessness, including excellent background information.

The Human Rights Research and Education Centre is housed at the University of Ottawa. The website has links to various Canadian human rights sites. A good place to start if you are doing research related to human rights laws.

Toronto's Centre for Spanish Speaking Peoples (CSSP) produced ten legal fact sheets in Spanish that cover such issues as what employers can and cannot ask during a job interview, pay slips, pensions, the rights of people who work as cleaning subcontractors, parental benefits, sexual harassment, disability benefits, eviction, and requirements for second apartments in a house.

Ontario Coalition Against Poverty - Immigration provides direct-action advocacy for individuals facing deportation as well supporting the work of immigrant and refugee organizations.

The Ontario's Psychiatric Patient Advocate Office (PPAO) was established in 1983 to protect the civil and legal rights of inpatients in the current and former Ontario provincial psychiatric hospitals. The PPAO has a number of online Info Guides including self-advocacy, accessing records and human rights complaints.

The Federation of Metro Tenants' Associations (FMTA) is a non-profit Organization which advocates for better rights for tenants. The organization operates a tenant hotline, offers information on rights and encourages participation.
