They aim to build bridges among the poor, homeless and the greater community, while engaging the broader public in fighting for economic justice. The Real Change website has an archive, resources on poverty and homelessness, and information on how to get involved.

Picture the Homeless is a homeless-led organization in New York that fights for the civil and human rights of homeless people. Picture the Homeless is founded on the principle that in order to address the root causes of homelessness, people who are homeless must develop a collective, effective voice for systemic change. Their website has information on their legal clinic, various publications and reports, they also host a Picture the Homeless Blog, as well as a Picture the Homeless YouTube site with videos of their rallies and events.

It is based at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As one of three Area Poverty Research Centers sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, it has a particular interest in poverty and family welfare in the Midwest.
