Kelowna Community Resources is a searchable online database of community resources from across the central Okanagan.

The Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance has replace its BCEA manual for a new kind of information provider, entitled, the MEIA Online Resource. You can also access the Ministry Reports and Publications Online.

The BC Public Interest Advocacy Centre has published a fact sheet (in PDF) for anyone who has been told by the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance (MEIA) that they owe them money.

The National Council of Welfare has an archive of publications starting in 1971, covering such things as general trends, poverty levels, poverty and gender, poverty and seniors, etc.

The Vancouver Status of Women's (VSW) Welfare Resource Guide for Women (in PDF) provides general information to women about British Columbia's welfare system or Employment and Assistance Regulations. In particular, the Guide especially focuses on the needs of single mothers. Free copies are available from the Vancouver Status of Women or can be downloaded along with other publications from the VSW publications page.
